Case Study: Campaign Event For United Way Of Greater Rochester
Challenge
As part of a nation-wide campaign, the United Way of Greater Rochester, kicked off their county-wide slogan, “We Take Care Of Our Own.” Several brochures were needed for each of the six counties. The message, color scheme, and information were all provided to support the United Way’s nation campaign.
Solution
The hand photo on the cover was chosen because it drew attention to the mission of helping people in our local community, and accented the theme, “We Take Care Of Our Own.” The United Way’s campaign goal was to raise revenues to support local community programs and deliver services to those in need. The tri-fold brochure was a mailing piece delivered to homes throughout the surrounding community.
Results
Through a nation-wide effort, the United Way’s campaign goal was reached and the community benefited from generous donations.
Once a year the United Way of Greater Rochester holds a conference event with resources available for staff and participants to support their community. The brochure was specifically designed to provide a program for the event and encourage the community sign ups and participation.
